openmx software package provides package for nano-scale material simulations, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openmx
openmx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openmx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openmx *
You will get with openmx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
